This is a nice exercise to do with the Keiser machine. the great thing about the Keiser is that it gives you direct feedback on your power output, it really challenges your concentration to push as hard every time. As a coach you get a good change to work on the "set" position, make sure there is good tension in the back and the upper legs. The athlete can get a real good sense of long push instead of a quick kick.
But despite the starting blocks, the starting position, it isn't that close to a real start as it looks like, don't expect to get a great transfer out of this.
